Loving God with all the heart, soul, mind (the Mark 12 and Luke 10 accounts add the word "strength") is, I think, kind of a euphemism for loving God with every fiber of our being, entirely, completely and with no reservation. Who does that? Sadly, this worthy individual is hard to find. Indeed, in the Luke account, this admonition is followed by the account of the good samaritan. In this account Jesus uses a hated minority as the protagonist against the most righteous of the Jews' own leaders to show that there is no one who measures up. I think in the final analysis the only perfect person is Jesus Himself. All others, including ourselves are just pretenders.
Nevertheless, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we have a goal to reach for. As for one aspect, the mind, I think we followers of Jesus have an obligation to study the Word of God so thoroughly, and the knowledge available to us in this world so completely that we can remove obstacles to salvation that the Evil One continually tries to throw at us. As it says in 1 Peter 3:15, we must be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope we have, with gentleness and respect. That, I believe at least in part, is loving God with all our mind.

Pray: "Dear God, please help this generation to faithfully stand with the truth of your Word and not fall for an imposter. Help them affirm as the Church has always affirmed that God is truly on the throne and we are not."
